I started the company as I like construction in general and I love to be able to really transform people’s homes, I now enjoy the challenge of growing the business, providing jobs for my staff and developing people and I want DW to be the best in the business!!

Qualified as a registered nurse after leaving school. This then developed into setting up my own home care company, which I owned and managed for 13 years.

Interesting Fact

I once did a sky dive from 15,000 feet out of an aeroplane. Dave bought it for me for Christmas.

I started at DW as an installer, then went over to sales for 18 months and then went back to installing before I took on the role in 2024 as a Surveyor which is what I enjoy most.

I have worked in high street retail in various roles for a number of years. I’m new to double glazing but it’s so similar to retail, always put the customer first.

Walking long distances especially when it’s along the coast.

After I left my last job I travelled the world for 3 & 1/2 months… on a cruise ship!

My Career started with the Local Authority Housing Department and later I ventured into Specialist Insurance for 7 years. In my late 20’s I detoured into Estate Agency and Financial Services in Wolverhampton and Birmingham where I had a successful career for over 20 years. Looking for a change I worked for a couple of years within a busy Conveyancing Firm and then did a complete u-turn back into housing related work.

Achievement

My proudest achievement is my son. I love anything paranormal or unexplainable!

Interesting fact

I achieved Grade 8 in playing the Organ and Grade 5 in playing the Violin when I was younger. I swapped music for Sportsbikes in my late 20’s and spent many hours on daytrips through the Welsh valleys instead!

I’m Sales Manager here and every day is different, all of my Team are brilliant at what they do and they always have pleasing the customer as their highest priority, backed up by excellent products, service and aftercare.
