Job description

Our Sales Co-ordinator role assists the Sales Manager in driving the team so leadership skills are essential.

Assist the Sales Manager in all aspects of running a busy sales office, managing sales reports and coaching and training the team.

To work in a busy sales office answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to generate great sales leads (no cold calling!).

Book home sales appointments on our CRM system for the sales representatives to attend.

Meet & greet customers in the showroom & provide sales information on our products and services.

Calculate quotations for Windows and Doors for our residential customers, provide quotations to customers both verbally and written (training provided), therefore must have a willingness to learn about the UPVC products we sell.

Job specific training will be provided however applicants must have the following experience before applying.

The successful applicant MUST HAVE:

– Experience of coaching, guiding and training others.

– Must be a problem solver.

– Must have a sound understanding of IT systems and Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.

– Must have excellent writing, language and literacy skills.

– At least 1 year of relatable or transferrable “sales” skills.

– Must be confident in interacting with customers and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time 41.25 hours 8.30-5 (5 days per week) including Saturdays 8.30-4.

Pay: £27,563 p.a (rising depending on your experience) + commission

Holiday: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. No Christmas working as we close over Christmas!

The role:

🔺Visit customers in their homes throughout the West Midlands to face to face sell our range of Windows, Doors, Conservatories, Porches, and Verandas.

🔺All appointments are pre-qualified. We have approx. 60-80 customers per week requiring an appointment / quotation, giving each of our sales representatives an average of 12-14 appointments per week. It’s busy!

🔺Working Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm with a day off in the week. This role includes some (approx. 2 per week) 17.30pm home appointments.

🔺Working in our Meadow Lane, Coseley Showroom to meet and greet our customers and quote our products and services.

Must have:

🔸Good grammar and numeracy skills and the ability to use PC design packages. PC literate with a good use of Microsoft WORD.

🔸A valid driving licence and have own vehicle.

🔸Ability to adapt to our tried and tested sales processes.

🔸Excellent time management skills.

🔸Positive experience in interacting with people in a customer-facing role.

Desirable:

🔸Working knowledge of the fenestration and or construction industry.

🔸Home selling experience with the ability to negotiate effectively.

Salary:

🔸Basic salary of £21,300 plus £120 per month fuel allowance, with the realistic potential to earn £35k min up to £65k. Uncapped earnings.
