New DW Windows Showroom

DW Windows Ltd are now starting our 9th year of trading installing windows, doors and conservatories to homes across the West Midlands. Since moving into our current showroom at 7 Brick Street, Sedgley in 2010, the company has grown rapidly from two to five fitting teams with a dedicated service and maintenance engineer, who are all directly employed as opposed to using sub-contractors. The team also consists of a dedicated installations manager, surveyor, two quotation experts and five administration staff creating an additional 12 new jobs for local people.

The business is still very much family run with Dave Walters, director, heavily involved with the everyday running of the business with five other members of staff who are family members. Dave’s wife, Claire Walters has also joined the company to assist Dave with Health & Safety and HR requirements.

‘If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right’

Our company ethos is ‘if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing right’. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, workmanship, quality and aftersales and this is why we have gone from strength to strength over the last 8 years of economic uncertainty.

We now have approximately 4500 happy customers on our books. We took on 676 customers last year alone and 60 – 70% of these were recommendations or repeat business from existing customers having more work done. This is testament to our high levels of customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Over the past twelve months we have improved the foundation of the company by attaining Construction Health & Safety Scheme accreditation (CHAS), training all of our staff in health & safety procedures and appointing an external health & safety advisor to ensure that we are working safely and competently on customers properties and performing first class installations. This has also achieved us our first major commercial contract replacing windows and doors for a local housing association. We have taken on new products such as the Equinox Tiled roofing system for conservatories and noticed a massive swing of customers choosing composite doors as opposed to UPVC which offer improved locks and security.

Moving forward, DW Windows Ltd have completely outgrown our local Sedgley showroom and are now near to completing a deal to secure additional larger premises. This will enable us to continue to expand our installation team, create new office space and enable us to have one of the largest showrooms in the Midlands to showcase all of our fantastic products. Although we will keep our Sedgley showroom, the new premises will allow us to create more jobs, assist the company to continue to expand whilst offering an increased product range and an even better service to our customers.
